Ever know a really nice person that just has bad luck?  Maxamillion is the canine version of that person.  When he came to us from down South, he had heartworms.  We treated him for heartworms, and the treatment was not successful, so poor Max had to be treated a second time.  The worse news is that sweet little Max has a horrible right hip.  It looks so bad that the vet thinks perhaps it was an injury that was not treated instead of something he was born with.  Now that he has a clean bill of health from his heartworm treatment, we are getting ready to rebuild his rear-end.  If you would like to help contribute to his worthy cause, he sure would be grateful!  Max is friendly to all he meets and just spent an adoption day giving out kisses to anyone that got close enough to receive them.  He is completely housebroken and does not need to be crated when you are not home.  He takes treats gently, does not bark a lot and just is a very good boy all around.   He does prefer to ride co-pilot in the car if you give him the opportunity.
