Colby is a sweet little girl, probably less than a year old, maybe 8-9 months? She isn't a pure bred German Shepherd, but she is certainly mostly some sort of shepherd. She is cute, smart, and very quick to get with the program in a new environment. She is fine with being crated, but she is ready to get out and go at any time. Colby is good with other dogs and was reported by the prior owner to be good with kids and cats as well. She was given up because the owner had no fence and Colby was constantly going over to play with the neighbor's kids and in the neighbor's pool. She has no leash training or any sort of training to speak of, but she is smart and seems to be eager to please. She is not going to be a very big girl and she has a shorter, smoother coat than most shepherds, so she shouldn't shed quite as much. You can contact Colby's foster home at
vadogrescue@aol.com if you have any questions. Adopted 8-8-10.
